Finally the most wanted match of world cup 2011 is all set and its on 30th of March 2011 between India and its biggest rival in cricket – Pakistan team. And match is to be played in Mohali which is known for high scoring matches.
Imagine the extent only by presence of biggies – Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh, Pakistan PM, many IPL franchise owners, Mukesh Ambani, Vijay Mallya and many other dignitaries.
For the fact, India and Pakistan has encountered many times in world cup an dother games but in World cup matches, India has emerged always as the winner. So lets see whether history repeats or is created.
Best example – In Wills World Cup Quarter-Final on March 9, 1996 – India won by 39 runs – Thanks to power knock of Ajay Jadeja who helped Team India scoring 87 runs in last 10 overs.
Pakistan has also won many matches like Wills Trophy Final (25 October 1991) where they won by 72 runs and also during Australasia Cup Final (18 April, 1986) where they won by 1 wicket.
